Contactless Debit CardsCommunity is replacing expired debit cards with contactless debit cards. If you would like to receive a contactless card before your debit card expires, you may come into the bank and get a replacement card for $10.00. Contactless cards make checking out easier and safer. With these simple steps you’ll be on your way.
Debit/ATM CardsTotal Service Card PLUS Community’s Total Service Card PLUS** is a MasterCard Debit card as well as an ATM card. It offers all the benefits of Community’s Total Service Card listed above and more:
Lost or Stolen CardIf your Total Service Card PLUS Debit MasterCard is lost or stolen, call (800) 472-3272. Notification of Use of ATM and/or Debit Cards out of CountryIf you are traveling abroad for less than two weeks, you can set your travel preferences on Community's mobile app. If you are traveling more than two weeks, you must contact the bank to notify one of our staff members of your travel plans. If you are planning to use your ATM and/or Debit card with any foreign merchants, please contact our Electronic Banking department at (773) 685-5300 during regular business hours in order to request a temporary exemption to complete these transactions. If your Mastercard Debit/ATM card has been identified as having possible fraudulent activity, you will receive debit card fraud alerts by text if you have a cell phone number on file. You will receive notifications informing you of potentially suspicious transactions and you will confirm whether the transaction is valid. If no response to the fraud alert text is received, the fraud specialist will contact you by phone. Community Savings will never text or call you requesting your personal information, including card numbers, passwords or PIN. If you receive a suspicious text or phone call asking for your confidential information, do not respond.
