Community Savings Bank and the Portage Park Chamber of Commerce hosted their inaugural fall festival and classic car show together in the bank’s parking lot on Saturday, October 12, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
The car show featured over two dozen vintage cars, along with other activities, including a petting zoo with two unicorns, a miniature horse, and a mini bull. The Chicago Police Department also handed out giveaways for children.
“Partnering with local chambers and opening up our space to the neighborhood are part of what makes Community Your Personal Neighborhood Bank,” said Dane H. Cleven, president, chairman, and CEO of Community Savings Bank. “We hope everyone enjoyed the beautiful fall day and inaugural event.”
The bank’s parking lot also featured several local restaurants with food stands, including Migos, Junebug Café, and Alisha’s Sweettreats.
City Volkswagon also featured a car at the event. The bank and Portage Park Chamber also had booths with giveaways for those who attended.
