Community Supports First-Time Homeowners

Community is hosting two home buying seminars this spring at the bank's main office, 4801 W. Belmont Ave. The first seminar will be hosted in English on Saturday, April 26, 2025 and the second seminar will be hosted in Spanish on Saturday, May 3, 2025. Both seminars are intended for first time home buyers looking to buy and own their first home.

The seminars will feature speakers with experience in budgeting, mortgage lending, real estate sales, and contractual aspects of buying a home.

Audience members will learn how to find and buy a home, apply for a mortgage, repair credit, and qualify for special down payment programs.

“Community wants to help local residents understand mortgage lending programs and what’s needed to buy a home in today’s market,” said Art Neville, Vice President and Chief Loan Officer at the bank.

Dane H. Cleven, President and Chairman explained, “This seminar is part of Community’s continuing mission to help local residents own homes.”

You can reserve a seat by calling 773-794-5269 or signing up online. RSVP here for the English seminar on Saturday, April 26, 2025. RSVP here for the Spanish seminar on Saturday, May 3, 2025.
